On April 9,2014, the dTS ProgramNet Team, led by Cecilia Ciepiela-Kaelin, was awarded the prestigious USAID Administrator’s Management Improvement Award on April 9, 2014. “This award recognizes individual employees and teams that make significant contributions to improving the way in which the Agency designs and delivers development assistance and/or internal operations and management, which contributes to making the Agency work better and cost less.”

AISD’s Cecilia Ciepiela-Kaelin serves as Technical Director for the Program Cycle Capacity (PCC) project in partnership with dTS, providing technical assistance and overseeing a team of experts in the Office of Strategic & Program Planning (SPP) of the Policy Planning and Learning Bureau (PPL), managing USAID’s internal ProgramNet site, content, and events. ProgramNet is an internal interactive online community devoted to sharing knowledge and promoting learning by providing a platform for peer-to-peer and Mission-to-Washington dialogue to support collaboration and facilitate more effective Program Cycle implementation in the field to strengthen the discipline of development. ProgramNet has over 3000 members, representing about half the entire agency staff.
