In partnership with AISD, a consortium led by Nathan Associates has been awarded the Public Financial Management (PFM) II IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity), with a ceiling of $457 million over five years. Nathan Associates is a global consulting firm providing analytic and economic solutions for government and commercial clients around the world. Technical assistance under the new contract will help to make governments more efficient in how they spend their money, to limit waste, strengthen investment and provide better services for citizens, by improving the transparency and management of resources.

As a small, woman-owned, HUBzone business and member of the consortium, AISD will offer technical expertise in the areas of local governance, climate resilience, and linking communities to markets. Recently, AISD has been providing technical assistance to the International City and County Managers Association (ICMA) on a range of local government project designs and strategies, including reducing youth crime and violence in El Salvador, supporting federalization in Nepal, and decentralization and municipal development in Kosovo, for which ICMA was recently awarded a contract. AISD has been leading two education indicatives in Bogota and Cali Colombia, facilitating design and implementation of the collective impact model of StriveTogether in Cincinnati, to increase the pace and scale of improved outcomes for students.
